Ferries

Ferries to Elba Island depart daily from the port of Piombino. There are four shipping companies that offer different time options starting from 5 am until 10.30 pm in the evening.

The Piombino-Portoferraio section usually lasts an hour and a quarter.

In summer the Corsica-Sardinia Ferries also operates with a line that connects Portoferraio to Bastia.
The journey takes only 1 hour and 30 minutes.
